The House I Build
Everything comes as it should be
So I release myself from expectation
Letting the new unfold
Trusting in its beauty
I dreamt I was building a house
Brick by brick, standing atop its highest point
Overlooking all that was, all that is
From here I see vastness
Life stretching beyond every challange
Obstacles are not walls
They are paths winding toward understanding
Revealing my resilience
Introducing me to myself
Again and again
Each moment of struggle a blueprint
Each lesson a beam holding me steady
The past reaches for me
Its hands grasping at my edges
But the horizon calls louder
From this height I see
The past was never my cage
Only the ground I needed to rise from
I Build my house tall
Not to escape what was
But to honor it
To see how far I have come
To know that everything came to be
And everything will be
Because of yesterday
